Americans for Prosperity Foundation held the 5th annual Defending the American Dream Summit in Washington, D.C. in November of last year. Over 2,000 activists from across the country attended to send a powerful message to policy makers that Americans do not want government intruding further into our private lives, and spending the earnings of future generations with wasteful spending. Thousands more tuned in to watch our live stream online.

In the opening session we heard from Mitt Romney, Herman Cain, and Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who all brought the house down with great speeches about reining in spending and limiting government overreach in lives of citizens nationwide. Click here to see their speeches.

The night continued with the “Tribute to Ronald Reagan Dinner” featuring keynote speakers Dinesh D’Souza and Judge Andrew Napolitano. On Saturday thousands participated in the Cut Spending Now rally sponsored by Americans for Prosperity. The rally featured prominent conservative leaders such as Mark Levin, Andrew Breitbart, and Carly Fiorina.
